All who have trusted in Jesus will experience God’s presence for all eternity in [a new world and a new heaven] following the ultimate judgment. And the devil—not as its ruler, but because God will send Him there—will spend all of eternity there.
According to Revelation 20, Satan and those who carry out his orders will stage one last uprising against God at the end of time. The devil who had tricked them was then sent into the lake of fire and sulfur. and Revelation 20:10 states, “and… will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”
Thus, the devil’s demise is certain. That is, in fact, one of the main motivations behind his aggressive efforts to destroy God’s children. “The devil has come down to you in great wrath, because he knows that his time is short,” Revelation 12:12 states of him. Given eternity, Satan has a limited window of opportunity to damage us. We are confident that God will triumph. Come join us on His side!
