Unconditional love

Passie voor verloren zielen

“Overcome evil with good” (Romans 12:21)

Because of God’s unfailing love for us, we learn to love and support everyone, including our enemies.

The Lord Jesus describes a person who was given a substantial debt. Then, he became extremely resentful of someone who owed him a tiny sum of money. There isn’t much to say about the matter from a legal standpoint. However, we believe it is out of place.

It is us who have been absolved of our enormous obligation to God. We are overjoyed that we are not treating anyone unfairly because of this. We still care for them and support them even if they act hostilely. We seek to win people over to the Kingdom of God in this way.

It’s not a pretty alternative. We are all the same if we respond to evil with evil. Then evil triumphs over us personally.

We are satisfied when we are bathed in the light of God’s love. We are bursting at the seams. Enough is available for everyone.

Are you genuinely content with your life? If not, have you prayed to the Lord about this?
