According to Romans 8:34, “Christ Jesus is the one who died and, moreover, who was raised. He is at God’s right hand and is truly interceding for us.”
Following His earthly mission and resurrection, the Lord Jesus went back to heaven to be with His Father. Now, Jesus is praying for you from his heavenly seat at God’s right hand. When people come before God, he makes an intercession for them. Of course, this promise is solely for those who trust in Christ, much like the majority of promises found in the Bible. However, this is one of the Bible’s most consoling passages if you put your faith in Christ.
When a friend says he’s praying for you, you probably feel encouraged enough already. It says in this scripture that Jesus is praying for you. What made Jesus ascend to heaven? so that when He prayed for you, He could be very near the Father. What amazing, positive news that is.
